Disastercommohio is reborn
The first attempt to launch disastercommohio.org wasn't much of a success. My career got in the way and our host organization was going through a lot of personnel changes.
Time has passed, I'm in a new role at the day job, and this frees up a lot of my evenings and weekends now. The main project that we've been working on is maturing and if not self-sufficient, there are new participants that are moving it forward.
The site itself isn't ready for prime-time, this is mainly an initial post so that there's content to work with and an excuse to (re)build the site's structure.
So far we have an out-of-the-box Drupal 7.9 installation. I've set up the main admin account, and created a single authorized user. I'm working with the default permissions currently, but that will change shortly. This node is a default "article" and I'm using the default taxonomy of "Tags." I've added one entry to the vocabulary list: "Building The Site." Like before, I'll use this tag so that folks can filter out the back-office memos, or if people are interested in running their own similar site, they might learn from my mistakes.
Stay tuned,
